Point Ellice House
The largest Victorian collection in Canada is located at Victoria’s scenic Gorge Waterway. Point Ellice House is a great place to take afternoon tea, enjoy a game of croquet or walk through the gardens and woodland areas around the Selkirk Waterway. If you prefer the scenic route the Victoria Harbour Ferry, departing from the Empress Hotel downtown, will drop you off at the dock.
Point Ellice House was inhabited by the O’Reilly Family in 1867 after the Cariboo Gold Rush and has remained the same ever since. In 1867 many of Victoria’s social elite was known to gather at Point Ellice House.

Admission fees are $6 for adults and $3 for children aged 5 to 12. For tea and tour the adult fee is $22 and $11 for children. Groups over 15 people receive a discount! The Point Ellice House gift shop is located in the Visitor Center.
