Cafe Brio is located in the heart of Antique Row, just minutes away from Fairholme Manor. This cozy, Italian-inspired eatery was recently voted one of Victoria’s Best Loved restaurants. Cafe Brio offers a variety of small and large plates with a focus on local products. Their menu changes daily to reflect the freshest ingredients possible, and their New Year’s Eve menu is no exception. This year, Cafe Brio is serving two seatings, either a 3 or 5-course dinner with amuse bouche and a glass of bubbly. Reservations are required.

Paprika Bistro

Paprika Bistro is located in Estevan village, near Willows Beach in the heart of Oak Bay. The 60-seat boutique restaurant features a European menu and an international wine list that includes many BC wines. Paprika is a proud supporter of local farms, wineries and fisheries and updates their menu regularly to reflect the best Vancouver Island has to offer. Their special New Year’s Eve menu is a showcase of their talent—think truffled mushroom & black pepper soup, roasted pear salad, baked dungeness crab fusilli and chocolate & grand fir panna cotta. Tucked away in the funky Fernwood neighbourhood, Stage is a small, 50-seat wine bar with contemporary vibe. Their amazing wine list features mostly British Columbia wines, plus plenty of international selections. Stage also has a full kitchen that produces a delicious selection of small plates. Their special New Year’s Eve Menu offers up tasty delights including Octopus Carpaccio with seared Qualicum scallop, Fraser Valley duck breast with duck confit risotto cake and burnt orange reduction, and chili infused chocolate mousse with pine nut & hazelnut streusel.
